Persecution in Nigeria- How Can We Help as People of the Faith?

It has come to the attention of many in the LoveWorld community that a particular country that is gaining tremendous attention for continuous persecution is Nigeria. US president Donald Trump has been notified that at least 16,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria since June 2015. Many of them are victims of pure radical Islamic violence. The International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law, submitted a petition to wake the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, from his slumber and protect the millions of endangered Christians in Nigeria. More than 80 Nigerian Christians have been slaughtered at the hands of radical Islamic herdsmen this month. Major Christian groups addressed the inhumane violence and interviewed survivors, who described what it felt like to be attached by a machete. Please remember to pray for those precious Christians in Nigeria who are facing the depths of prosecution this very second.

This is a matter that is close to the heart of the LoveWorldUSA community. Numerous initiatives have been organized by Believer’s LoveWorld Inc. in order to assist these communities, such as Medical Corps and the Inner-City Mission. They are in dire need of our assistance. As Christians, it is our duty to fulfill the Word of Jesus, stating that we must help our brothers and our sisters, we must extend our hands to the needy. The basis of their persecution is solely based off of religion, it is a complete
