God wants intimacy with you

“I Love Psalm 139:1-2. It is the most intimate psalm of God’s knowledge of you, of any scripture. This is because it says: Oh Lord you’ve searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You know my thoughts are far off.

You may wonder what’s so special about this psalm. I memorized it because it’s so intimate. Can you imagine the intimacy that God has with you? He knows your thoughts before you think them. Wow! And He says he’s written in a book in this psalm. The things that He has for you. I love that! The intimacy of God.

Psalm 139:1-2, you know my sitting down…who would be interested in writing sitting down and getting up. Only God. And who’s so interested in my thoughts before I think them, that’s the intimacy, the love of God that He has for you. I love this special psalm.

God gives you wisdom and understanding

Have you ever meditated on Isaiah 11:1-2. Let me share some of the most wonderful things for you about Jesus.

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots”

And we say oh, I know who that is, that’s Jesus. You know, because he’s from the stem of Jesse. But is says the spirit of the lord will rest upon him. So there’s an anointing on Jesus. He is the anointed one.

It says the spirit of wisdom and understanding. You can have wisdom but if you don’t understand how to apply it, it’s not going to work like it should. The spirit of counsel and might. That we get His counsel but do we have the strength to give it to someone. The guts to do it. Look how they go together. And then he says the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

There are a lot of people that have the knowledge of God, but they don’t have the fear. The fear is the beginning of wisdom. Notice how beautifully these dove tales together are.

Always take both into your life.
