What does Kenneth Copeland have to say about eating addiction?

Kenneth Copeland is a praised preacher in the name of God. His teachings and spread of Gospel are well known in the American Evangelical community. He preaches the Lord’s Word in many outlets and even has his very own show on LoveWorld USA TV: Vision to Victory. Kenneth shares many of the Christ Embassy values; believing that Jesus should be incorporated into every aspect of our lives. Christ Should be the center of our concern and the highlight of our day.

In this special episode on Kenneth’s YouTube channel, he speaks with Dr. Don Colbert about the correct way to eat in the Keto Zone diet, creating a gateway to health and longevity. They discuss one of the biggest health issues in the nation to date: food addiction. Many addictions are hard to face alone but if you are strong with your faith and use principles from the Bible, there is hope.

Kenneth began the episode with a prayer to the Lord:

“Father we thank you today. We give you praise for this broadcast today. We uplift our hearts and our minds to receive revelation from heaven, words from heaven that move heaven on the earth. We thank you for it. We give you all the praise and the honor and the glory for it. In Jesus’ name, Amen”

He then continues with the read from the Bible:

“When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat” Proverbs 23:1-3

“Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags” Proverbs 23:20-21

Food addiction is one of the meanest addictions there is, Kenneth explains. He testifies on his own food addiction that he knew he was addicted. What he didn’t know back then was that bread (his favorite food) metabolizes into sugar and alcohol. He turned to God and asked Him how He will deliver him from food?

Copeland decided to do some serious fasting and praying. He realized through the word of God that he needs to understand what he’s putting in his mouth. He needs to take good care of the body God has given him.

Dr. Don Colbert agrees that this is a terrible issue and that we as a nation need to take this into our hands. In the United States, one in three American are obese, and it is projected that by 2050 this statistic will be as high as one in two.

As you can see the episode discussed a very pressing issue in our lives. Without faith and perseverance, we cannot tackle such a large issue.
