Memorial Day Legislation for the Troops and Veterans

The LoveWorld USA Newsroom salutes the troops, veterans, and their families for the unbelievable and honorable sacrifice they’ve made for this great country. It is important to any Christian church and specifically to the Christ Embassy family to show its appreciation for the people that have sacrificed so much in the name of God and their belief.

The President, Donald Trump, said we’ll have the strongest military that we’ve ever had. He said to the Naval Academy: you don’t give up you don’t give in. We’re at a better place that we’ve ever been before now with this country. The president gave a speech pledging to help the veterans, with their health care as well as, have their pay increased.

President Donald Trump:

“Each of you enters service at a truly exciting time for our country. For we are witnessing the great reawakening of the American spirit and of American might. We have rediscovered our identity, we gained our stride and we’re proud again. Prosperity is booming at home, our economy is the strongest it’s ever been, and our country has regained the respect that we used to have long ago abroad. Yes, they’re respecting us again. Yes, America is back. We have begun the great rebuilding of the United States military. We have ended the disastrous defense sequester. No money for the military? Those days are over.”

Wise words from the President, the Naval Academy appreciated that.

A key Senate committee endorsed a 2.6% military pay raise, the highest in nearly a decade, as part of an overall proposal to boost the military programs and their benefits. The Senate subcommittee also said its proposal, known as the Mark, would authorize troop increases, reforms to several military health programs, and new efforts to combat sexual misconduct, domestic violence and child abuse within the services.

We’re hoping and praying that this helps all in the military, inspire them, and also give them hope and encouragement that we’re behind our military, America backs them.

President Donald Trump has awarded the Medal of Honor to a Navy SEAL who oversaw a daring assault and rescue mission on a snowy Afghanistan mountaintop in 2002.

President Donald Trump:

“Join me in officially welcoming Master Chief Britt K. Slabinski to the white house, a special man, and a truly brave person. Today we pay tribute to Britt’s heroic service and we proudly present him with our nation’s highest military honor. I would go so far as to say our nation’s highest honor. In 2002 Britt was called to support Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
